Massiel Martinez5 StarMy favorite place to get pies around Seattle! They’re so good! Specially the Deserted Island, that’s my favorite one. The service is great also. Definitely worth it!Sunday 9th February 2025
Christine Chung2 StarWhat happened to the pies? I’ve been coming to the pie bar for about 10 years whenever I visited Seattle and at one point they used to have some of the best pies in the US. The coconut cream pie was the best and the fruit pies were fantastic. This time the pies were TERRIBLE!!! The coconut cream was waxy and overly sweet. It used to have toasted, shaved coconut bits and this time it was cheap processed strings. The chocolate cream pie tastes worse than day old cafeteria pie. The crumble on the fruit pies was underbaked and gloopy. I am so sad as I write this review but if you are like me want to go back because of fond memories, save yourself the money and calories and find a new pie place.Friday 18th April 2025
Chris S5 StarIncredible dessert delivered to my hotel! I got the berry and the apple and enjoyed both! Lots of fruit in the middle and a sweet, crispy crust!Friday 31st January 2025
Bennett2 StarBad spot for a date. One of the people on staff, Cara, was super lovely. Hope she gets paid well, and everything she wants in life.
The other bartender? Not so much. There was a group of heavily inebriated people sitting at the bar, and they were generally being loud and having a good time. A couple came in, but left without buying anything pretty quickly after hearing how loud the drunk customers were being. The man behind the counter kept encouraging and continuing to serve the very drunk guests at the bar. While all this was happening, I was on a date with my wife, and there was another couple on a date sitting down behind us. The other bartender told the very drunk guests that he could set up karaoke for them, without asking the other customers in the bar.
My wife and I left rapidly after, having spent over $40 for tbh pretty mid pie to come out in to-go containers. The other couple behind us also asked for their check before finishing their pie. We will not be returning, and we’ll warn our friends.Sunday 6th April 2025
Jodi Hufendick2 StarOkay, I know that this is an "after you've been partying" food place. And we definitely went there because we saw it on Instagram and it looked fun. It was 8:30 at night, none of us were drunk, and none of us were high, so maybe that's why it wasn't a phenomenal experience. It was definitely awkward when we walked up. There were two people having a smoke in front of the place and there was a chain saying wait here for a table. Turns out one of the people smoking was on a break and actually was the person that let us in, which was never communicated so it was AWKWARD. Most importantly, for a place that is called the Pie Bar, the pie was not very good. I consider myself a pie connoisseur. I get pie for my birthday every year because I don't do cake. I had the peach crumble. The crumble was way too thick and way too hard and in fact did not crumble, so you couldn't eat it with the peaches which defeats the purpose. The mud pie wasn't what I recognized as being a mud pie. There was hardly any chocolate. ?!? My friend got the coconut cream pie and she said it was really good. I don't know that I would make the trek back, but if you're already there and you've been partying, it's probably a great stop.Saturday 12th October 2024
